Our client requested the fabrication of a specialized 2-inch strainer made from Hastelloy C276 material, designed to handle a corrosive fluid under high-pressure conditions.
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
Given the highly technical nature of the Hastelloy C276 material required, managing the supply chain was a complex procurement process involving global suppliers.
MANUFACTURING
With the materials in hand, we proceeded to the manufacturing phase. Our skilled technicians fabricated each part of the custom strainer according to the precise specifications laid out by our engineering team. Throughout the manufacturing process, quality checks were conducted to ensure that each component met our high standards.
TESTING
To validate the strainer’s performance, we conducted NATA pressure testing to 150 bars, exceeding the initial requirement to provide an added margin of safety and reliability. This testing ensured that the strainer could withstand pressures significantly higher than those specified by the customer, demonstrating its robustness and durability.
The Result?
Profluid’s end-to-end technical approach and competitive lead times were key factors in the success of this project. From the initial design to the final testing, every aspect of the project was managed in-house. Our engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams worked seamlessly together to ensure that the custom strainer was delivered within a remarkably short lead time. The successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) further confirmed that the equipment met all required specifications and was ready for use.
