Project Overview

Lynas Kalgoorlie Pty Ltd, known as Lynas, embarked on an ambitious project to establish a state-of-the-art Rare Earths Processing Facility in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

  • The proposed facility, situated at Lot 500 Great Eastern Highway, Yilkari, along with a By-product storage facility on Common Reserve 8767, Yarri Road, Parkerston, aimed to process rare earth concentrate extracted from the Mt Weld mine.
  • The primary objective was to produce a refined rare earth carbonate suitable for export and further utilization. In the year 2022, Profluid made a significant contribution to the construction of Lynas’ Rare Earths Processing Facility by providing an extensive array of Actuated and Control valves. This delivery comprised more than 550 specialized valves, each meticulously tailored to meet the exacting requirements of the processing plant. The scope of Profluid’s delivery encompassed a diverse range of valve types, including:
